qEEG Brain Map
qEEG Brain Mapping (Quantitative ElectroEncephalogram), measures the electrical activity across 12 locations in the brain and compares its readings to a large data base of other brain maps. In a scientifically objective manner, the brain map allows your ALPHA NeuroFeedback technician to determine what brain waves patterns are dysregulated. You may be producing too many or not enough of certain brain waves at different areas in your brain. At your brain map appointment, your technician will determine a Neurofeedback training plan that will regulate your unique pattern of brain waves.
Neurofeedback Training
Neurofeedback is a brain training technique to reward the brain for operating at a beneficial level. The way our brain learns is through operant conditioning. While watching a show or listening to music, you are rewarded with a pleasant tone or full brightness of the screen when the brain reaches a targeted range. Your brain will naturally rewire itself to preform at the level that was rewarded. This heals the mind!
Most clients come 2-3 times per week and they commonly see result at around 10 sessions.
